While JSX is much cheaper than flying in a typical private jet, it’s still not nearly as cheap as flying economy. But you can find some flights that are about the same or cheaper than some first class and business class trips.
JSX allows you to arrive only 20 minutes before your departure (although they do recommend giving yourself extra time if you have to check bags). “Arrive 20 minutes before your flight” (or 40 minutes for international) seems to be one of their main selling points. Once you arrive, a free valet is available at most locations to park your car. There’s generally no self-parking option, though, so you’ll have to be dropped off if you don’t do valet, according to their FAQ. You don’t even have to come with your boarding pass, since a staff member will hand you one at your arrival after you give them your information.
The benefits here are obvious: A maximum of 30 people per cabin means no long lines, less competition for the bathroom, easier check-in, and faster security without needing TSA PreCheck or Clear. And as for seat space, passengers sit on their own one-seat aisle on E145 aircrafts. You’ll also be able to do those cool walks out into the apron and up the flight of stairs into the jet like they do in Succession.
All flights will have high-speed free wifi, complementary beverages, cocktails, beers, wines, snacks, power outlets on each seat, and free pet travel.
How much do JSX flights cost?
The prices for JSX flights vary depending on locations and which tier you choose. They have the popular, cheaper tier called “Hop On” and the “All In” higher tier. The main difference is the higher tier gets you an extra free check-in bag (so a max of three bags), free flight changes, refundable flights, and free seat selections (so you can choose the single seats for the jets that have limited amounts of them).
The price for their lower tier flights can be cheaper than some first class flights. For example, you can find a one-way from Austin to Las Vegas for May 29 for $249, while the cheapest option to make the same flight on the same day on first class on Google Flights is $379 from American Airlines (and it’s not a direct flight).
