Where to Stuff Your Face With Free (or Cheap) Burritos on National Burrito Day

There are not many handheld dishes that are socially acceptable to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner that give you the variety in ingredients and space for creativity that burritos do (except maybe a sandwich?). And with national burrito day coming up on April 6, there are enough deals to help you get your fill of burritos all day long.

National Burrito Day happens on the first Thursday of April, according to the National Day Calendar. Some of these deals will go on beyond Thursday, some will be BOGO, and others are discounts or raffles. Here are the best deals out there.

Chipotle

Perhaps the biggest burrito player in the U.S., Chipotle, did not deliver this year when compared to some smaller chains…but they do have three different deals:

• Get a free burrito when you order at least $20 worth of Chipotle through Grubhub starting Wednesday, April 5. Only 20,000 free burritos will be given until April 8. No promo code necessary and only one redemption per customer.
• On Thursday, April 6, @ChipotleTweets will be tweeting codes throughout the day giving away 10,000 free burritos. You just have to text the code to 888-222 and hope you’re one of the first 10,000.
• Also on Thursday, April 6, Chipotle will offer free delivery on all burrito orders through their app or website with code “DELIVER.”

Chronic Tacos

If you’re in one of these nine states and have a Chronic Tacos location near you, you can get 50% off your burritos when you order through the Chronic Taco app on Thursday, April 6. This deal is not available in person.

El Pollo Loco

According to The Krazy Coupon Lady, if you’re an El Pollo Loco reward member, you can get BOGO free burritos all day on Thursday, April 6. They will also offer free delivery through the El Pollo Loco app and website. Check out their locations here.

Moe’s Southwest Grill

Certain participating Moe’s will be offering BOGO 50% off burritos on Thursday, April 6. These deals are available in person or online through the app or website. The deal is not available with third-party websites. Check out their locations here.

Taco Bell

Taco Bell will be celebrating National Burrito Day for four days, from April 6 to April 9. If you order at least $15 worth of food from the Taco Bell Rewards app, you’ll get a free Grilled Cheese Burrito on your order. If you want to order from DoorDash, Uber Eats, Postmates, or Grubhub, you’ll need to spend at least $20.
